We had our first rides Friday and Saturday with 5 new riders!  Our wounded warrior rode as well as one of our riders from last year.  All of the rides went well and we were able to keep volunteers busy.  We do need to figure how to bring more horses into the picture so we can add more variety.  This is problematic as we are trailering them from either the mothership or the base and it's a long round  trip after a day of riding and with chores to do at home.
The arena shook and vibrated from wind and rain and the horses were a little disconcerted but behaved well.  A rainbow provided a good omen for the future.
We've been getting a lot of interest from the community for both riders and volunteers.  We'll be scheduling another volunteer orientation soon.
Thanks to everyone for their support!
