We had great rides Friday and Saturday.  The weather was beautiful, the horses felt good, we had great hard-working volunteers and the riders had fun.
Woody has continued to show some gimpiness (is that a medical term?) in his left shoulder and we're doing some interventions with various potions and tonics but we feel that a vet trip is not necessary as yet.  Zephyr is on line to make the trip down as a replacement (WHO can replace Woodrow!!!)  but with the next weekend off perhaps we can keep her at the mother ship and keep Woody for the riders who love him.  She and Rocky will be making the trip down at some point but we're not ready for that yet.
Next Saturday we will be offering another day of Volunteer Orientation sessions- 9:30-12 and 1-3:30 (or should I say 1300 to 1530?).  Call if you wish to attend one of the sessions.
It's another beautiful day- hope I can get out and ride!  All in all- I'd rather be on horseback.
Happy Trails!
