Monday was the day to move Dena and Debbie  from their temporary home in the restricted area to the new  AFTEC/BGAD Battlefield Center.  As luck would have it a horse trailer tall enough the accomodate 6'3'  at the withers (our current trailer is 6' 5" total height).  The only option was to lead the horses 4 miles over 3 cattle guards and 4 railroad tracks.  In the pouring rain, Peggy, Sam and Mark,  with a security escort helping move plywood and keeping things safe,  led the horses to their new home.
This makes all five horses and all of the AFTEC gear and equipment moved from the restricted area to the new site in the administrative area.
This weekend, March  4th and 5th, AFTEC will be continuing installation of interior fence systems, working on pasture development and training horses and offering a  volunteer skill development opportunity.  Contact David or me about attending.
We'll be riding at the Fairgrounds again on March 11 and 12.
Cheers!
Mark
