Summer 2012

We have had a great summer!  Now that fall has almost arrived and the weather is cooling down we are looking forward to the fall riding season.
My class at EKU, REC 210, has been very rewarding and I'm enjoying the girls enthusiasm and love of horses.
On Sept 29, AFTEC will be hosting an Armed Forces Appreciation Day.  Check out the information on the web page.  We really want to boost our Veteran Program as there is such a need for alternative therapies for America's Wounded Warriors.
EKU's SOSA has been providing us with many wonderful and willing volunteers with a lot of energy and we are very thankful for their efforts.  And as usual our core contingent of regular volunteers has been great, helping our program provide the meaningful services it does.
Come visit us, we're at the center most Fridays and Saturdays for rider services and most Thursdays to bring in the horses and get them warmed up for the weekend rides!
Happy Trails!
